Fuel Prices Drop, ATP Gives Cash Rebate to Students
December 30, 2008 — In an unprecedented move to pass along fuel cost savings, ATP issued cash rebates up to $2,500 to Airline Career Pilot Program students enrolled at mid-2008 pricing and dropped prices for all students starting in 2009. Pilots looking to advance their certification will pay less as flight training prices decline with the cost of fuel.

Diamond Aircraft Announces First Flight of D-JET with New Williams Engine
October 05, 2008 — Diamond Aircraft flew its D-JET for the first time with the new Williams FJ33-5A engine today. "This is an important milestone for the D-JET program as we will be using this and subsequent aircraft for actual certification flights," said Peter Maurer, President of Diamond Aircraft.
ATP Continues to Accept Deliveries of New Piper Seminole Aircraft
Wilmington, DE — October 02, 2008 — Airline Transport Professionals (ATP) today accepted delivery of a factory-new, multi-engine Piper PA-44 Seminole aircraft. This is the tenth 2008 model Piper Seminole received by ATP this year. Airline Career Pilot Program students fly the multi-engine Seminoles for 140 hours in a nationwide, airline-style training environment. With the addition of this aircraft, ATP's fleet now includes 146 flight training aircraft.

Five Airlines hire 22 First Officers during on-site interviews at ATP
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Florida—February 21, 2007–Five of the leading regional airlines, including ASA; Trans States Airlines; Colgan Air; American Eagle; and Pinnacle Airlines, interviewed 24 pilot applicants during an on-site airline-hiring event at ATP headquarters. Twenty-two pilot applicants received firm class dates or conditional offers of employment, based on successful completion of ATP’s Regional Jet Standards Certification course and simulator evaluation. Many applicants received offers from more than one airline.
ASA, Trans States, and Pinnacle Hire 23 First Officers during On-Site Interviews at ATP
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Florida—January 11, 2007—This week ASA, Trans States Airlines, and Pinnacle Airlines interviewed 25 pilot applicants during an on-site airline hiring event at ATP headquarters. Twenty-three pilot applicants received firm class dates or conditional offers of employment, based on successful completion of ATP’s Regional Jet Standards Certification course.

ATP Purchases Fleet of 20 Diamond D-JETs
ATP announces its purchase of 20 Diamond D-JETs and 5 Diamond Flight Training Devices (FTDs) and the formation of a strategic training partnership with Diamond Aircraft, in which ATP will provide factory-approved initial type ratings and recurrent training in the Diamond D-JET at locations across the U.S.

ASA Signs Airline Pilot Hiring Letter of Agreement with Airline Transport Professionals
Airline Transport Professionals (ATP) received a signed airline pilot hiring letter of agreement from Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) dated December 20, 2006. ASA now guarantees interviews to pilots who have completed ATP’s Regional Jet Program with specially reduced flight time minimums of 500 hours total time and 50 hours total multi-engine time. ASA also agreed to offer conditional offers of employment to ATP-recommended pilots enrolled in these programs prior to reaching minimum flight time requirements.
“ASA is acknowledging the need to be more competitive with other Regional Airlines to gain access to the best ATP-trained pilot applicants. ATP looks forward to helping ASA meet their pilot recruitment needs,” said Jim Koziarski, ATP’s Vice President of Flight Operations.
Trans States Airlines Signs Airline Pilot Hiring Letter of Agreement with Airline Transport Professionals
Airline Transport Professionals (ATP) received a signed airline pilot hiring letter of agreement from Trans States Airlines (TSA) dated December 14, 2006. This letter represents an agreement by TSA to guarantee interviews to pilots who are recommended by ATP. In the letter, TSA reduces its minimum prerequisites for ATP graduates to 500 hours total flight time and 100 hours total multi-engine time, in recognition of the excellent training received at ATP.
ATP Orders Five ELITE RC-1 Training Systems with the Garmin GNS 430 GPS Option
Airline Transport Professionals (ATP) orders 5 ELITE Advanced Aviation Training Devices. These devices are state-of-the-art training systems fully equipped with the Garmin GNS 430 GPS option. The ELITE RC-1 systems are full-featured Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATD) with life-size, high-resolution instruments, cockpit enclosure, and external visual system with a large-screen display.
American Eagle Conducts On-Site Interviews at ATP's New Daytona Location
On On Friday, November 17, 2006, American Eagle Airlines interviewed 3 pilot applicants on-site at Airline Transport Professional’s (ATP’s) New Daytona Beach Location. This occurred the day after the Grand Opening celebration. In attendance for American Eagle was Claudette Carroll, Pilot Recruiter and Tim Krailo, Captain.
ATP is very happy with the ongoing success of graduates receiving job offers with specially reduced minimums. American Eagle states in it’s agreement letter with ATP that, “American Eagle recognizes the quality of training ATP provides and the airline-ready pilots that complete the Regional Jet Program offered by ATP.”
5 More ATP Graduates Hired by Pinnacle Airlines
On Wednesday, November 2, 2006, Pinnacle Airlines interviewed 5 pilot applicants on-site at ATP’s headquarters in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and all 5 applicants were offered November start dates. This is the second time in under 4 months that Pinnacle Airlines had hired a group of graduates from ATP. ATP is proud to have the highest ratio of airline placements to students of all the leading flight training academies. With 129 ATP graduates hired by airlines in the last 12 months and 104 ATP graduates hired in 2006.
Daytona Beach Flight Training Center Opening
On Thursday, November 16th, 2006 ATP hosted a grand opening party at the NEW Daytona Beach flight training center. American Eagle had representatives on-site and conducted interviews with ATP instructors the following day.
ATP Provides Students with Specialized Training Using Airline-Standard Jeppesen® Charts
ATP now provides students with Jeppesen® Navigational charts for their Instrument training and subsequent nationwide multi-engine cross-country flight experience. Students are receiving the Jeppesen charts at no additional cost. ATP’s program managers, all of whom have major airline and regional airline experience, know that using airline-standard Jeppesen charts, further ensures ATP is training the most qualified future professional pilots.
Pinnacle Airlines Hires 8 ATP Graduates
On Wednesday, August 30, 2006 Pinnacle Airlines’ Chief Pilot, Human Resources Representatives, and members of a Captains’ Board interviewed 11 pilot applicants on-site at Airline Transport Professional’s (ATP’s) headquarters in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Out of these 11 applicants, Pinnacle hired eight First Officers for mid-September class dates. These applicants were top-of-their-class candidates with 300 to 600 hours of logged flight time.
ATP adds 5 New Piper Seminoles to the largest multi-engine training fleet
April 21, 2005—Airline Transport Professionals, Inc. (ATP) today received the third of five multi-engine New Piper PA-44 Seminoles. New Piper Aircraft Corporation will deliver the remaining two new aircraft in May of this year. All five aircraft feature a Garmin GNS 430 color moving map GPS system that displays FAA Traffic Information Service (TIS) data for enhanced safety. With these new aircraft, ATP’s multi-engine Piper Seminole fleet will grow to 65 aircraft.
